Deposit accounts
J&T BANKA offers private clients two types of deposit accounts:
Deposit accounts are intended for clients looking for a better interest rate for appreciating their spare funds and can be set up as a standalone account, without the need to hold a current account. No charge is made for setting up, maintenance or cancellation of a deposit account.

A deposit termination request can be made:

A client in requesting termination of a deposit account can choose from the following options:

terminate a part of the deposit while maintaining the minimum amount of the deposit, where the remaining part of the deposit continues to be subject to the deposit relationship

terminate the entire deposit

terminate the deposit account contract
With this type of deposit account there is no fixed deposit term. If funds on the deposit account fall below the minimum limit of €100,000, they will cease to bear interest. The client may at any time deposit additional funds in a deposit account.
Deposit with a fixed term
With this type of deposit the client can set up a deposit account for a specified term and for a specified amount.

The minimum deposit to open a term deposit account is EUR 3000 ,-. The condition is that the client on the opening of a term deposit account on all deposits at J&T BANKA deposited at least EUR 10 000 ,-. In other cases minimum deposit to open a term deposit account id EUR 10 000 ,-.

The minimum deposit to open a term deposit account is EUR 10 000,- (equivalent for foregin currencies). In case of 1-day term deposit, the minimum deposit is EUR 400 000,- or CZK 10 000 000,-.
